Il presente contributo vuole offrire uno spaccato su alcuni sviluppi contemporanei concernenti le ricerche nel campo delle cellule staminali pluripotenti indotte (IPSCs). Sviluppi che confrontandosi con la complessità del vivente ammettono l'esistenza di una pluralità di livelli d'investigazione, incoraggiando il ricorso ad una molteplicità di linguaggi e di metodologie. Vengono individuate altresì possibili vie alternative alle IPSCs compatibili con una riflessione sul legame fra libertà e responsabilità nella ricerca scientifica. Tali studi consentono oggi di delineare un innovativo approccio di cura senza manipolazioni genetiche in grado di andare oltre la stessa metodologia proposta originariamente da Yamanaka.

This article aims to offer a description of some contemporary developments concerning the researches in the field of induced pluripotent stem cells (IPSCs). Advancements that confronting the complexity of the living being, allow the existence of a plurality of investigation levels and encouraging the use of different languages and methodologies. Moreover, this paper identifies alternative ways to IPSCs compatible with a reflection about a connection between freedom and responsability in the scientific research. Such studies allow today to outline an innovative approach to care without genetic manipulation able to overcome the original Yamanaka's method.
