La maternità biotech e il discorso mancante
L'approdo alla questione della surrogacy è l'esito di un processo culturale e tecnico che ha anche portato a guardare alle tecnoscienze come uno strumento privilegiato di liberazione della donna, rompendo quella che era vista come un'alleanza per lei oppressiva tra natura e cultura. In particolare, la liberazione dalla maternità, inteso dal femminismo radicale come una condanna, si è trasformata in quella che appare come una liberazione della maternità, inserendola nella dimensione controllata del progetto. In queste pagine ci si propone di affrontare la questione della surrogacy proprio dalla prospettiva della donna, saggiando la veridicità di tale lettura del binomio tecnologie-liberazione. Lo faremo a partire da alcune letture femministe che danno voce filosofica, non semplicemente testimoniale, all'esperienza vissuta o comunque possibile della gravidanza, e che mettono a tema l'esprimibilità e l'oblio della genealogia materna.
