Corporeità e qualità dell'abitare tra etica ed ecologia / Corporeity and quality of living between ethics and ecology

L'antropologia filosofica sviluppatasi nella prima metà del XX secolo ha tematizzato in particolare la questione del rapporto tra uomo e ambiente, sottolineando le specificità della modalità umana di abitare il mondo. Abitare rappresenta una struttura antropologica che fa riferimento non soltanto alla capacità tecnica dell'uomo, ma soprattutto alla sua esistenza incarnata e all'esigenza di radicamento e di relazione, che trovano un'espressione privilegiata nella categoria della casa. Si tratta di un tema su cui oggi si confrontano vari saperi: la psicologia ambientale, l'architettura, la sociologia, per citarne solo alcuni. L'articolo analizza la funzione ma anche le nuove criticità dello spazio-casa e del correlato assetto urbano nello sviluppo e nell'espressione dell'identità personale e relazionale, nonchè nella promozione di uno stile di vita sostenibile. Data la diretta interrelazione tra spazio domestico, spazi urbani e comportamento umano, la qualità dell'abitare riguarda direttamente la bioetica, come ambito di quella "ecologia umana" inseparabile dalla riflessione sui significati dei comportamenti e sulle categorie di identità e qualità della vita, che implicano un èthos condiviso.

The philosophical anthropology which had developed in the first half of the 20th century has focused in particular on the question of the relationship between man and environment, underlining the specific human modality of living in the world. Living represents an anthropological structure which refers not only to human technical capacity but above all to his incarnate existence and to the need of roots and relationship, which find a privileged expression in the category of the home. This argument is confronted today by various knowledges: environmental psychology, architecture, sociology, just to mention some of them. The article analyzes the function but also the new critical situations of space/home and of the related urban planning within the development and expression of personal and relational identity, as well as within the promotion of a sustainable lifestyle. Considering the direct interrelation between domestic space, urban spaces and human behavior, the quality of living is straightly bound to bioethics, as being the field of that "human ecology" which is inseparable from reflecting on the sense of ways of behavior and on the categories of identity and quality of life which imply a common èthos.
