It cannot be denied that the damages from indeed wrong medical cares are reality of strong dimensions and that the same could firmly be limited adopting the opportune preventive and corrective strategies. Besides, the culture of the punitive intervention encourages the sad phenomenon of the submerged error and the defensive medicine, without offering real solutions to the problem, with clear negative reflexes on the health of the consumer and on the boundaries of the physician-patient relationship. An ethical reading of the error claiming the role of the responsibility of the physicians as positive element for the progress of the knowledge should set off.
