Talking today about artificial insemination certainly no longer arouses wonder. Man's lordship over creation, in fact, registers a singular breadth with unprecedented and surprising results, especially in the field of the physio-pathology of reproduction: intrauterine diagnosis of genetic diseases, control or even sex determination, the most diverse genetic experiments for therapeutic or research purposes; attempts at extracorporeal fertilisation.
