Abstract

The identification of carriers, so-called healthy carriers, of hereditary diseases or those with a significant hereditary component is assuming considerable importance at this stage of health care, which is increasingly turning its attention to preventive medicine. This type of operation has numerous implications, of a technical, social, psychological and moral nature, some of which represent a relatively new experience for the doctor or healthcare facility.
