In prenatal diagnostics and its medical, deontological and human implications, the intervention of the paediatric surgeon, that is, the one who has always been involved in the study and treatment of congenital malformative pathology, represents, in many ways, the moment of hope, the moment, in other words, in which it is expected that the diagnostic effort, often onerous on the medical and human level, will result in a concrete therapeutic perspective.
