Authors

Recent advances in the field of the Human Genome Project and of human hereditary disease mapping involve several ethical problems. Some of these issues, including the secrecy of research results and commercial exploitation of cloned DNA sequences are outlined. Ethical issues involving the diagnosis and prognosis of inherited disease, genetic liability to occupational diseases and database secrecy are discussed.
