E ciò a causa di una fondamentale asimmetria di poteri tra medico e direttore generale. Il saggio argomenta a favore sia di un modello di governo multistakeholder delle strutture sanitarie sia della valorizzazione delle motivazioni intrinseche rispetto a quella degli schemi di incentivo. <br />----------<br /&gt; The paper defends the following thesis: the process of managerialization started in Italy during the ’90s has considerably improved the economic performance of health structures, but it did not succeed to modify for the better the clinical governance. The main reason lies in a fundamental asymmetry between the general director and the physician: the former being a single agent, the latter a double agent. The paper speaks in favour of a multistakeholder model of governance and a rational valorization of intrinsic motivations within the medical profession.}, number={6}, journal={Medicina e Morale}, author={Zamagni, Stefano}, year={2008}, month={Dec.} }
