Senses of guilt, self-injuring ideas, depression, alcohol or drugs abuse, behaviour troubles, anniversary syndrome are the observed symptoms of the PAS.

The available data emerge from studies according to the methodology of the psychological investigation and they don’t appear therefore conditioned from the approach to the issue of the induced abortion.

Conclusions are drawn around the preventive strategies of the recourse to the induced abortion and around the role assigned from the specific legislation to the danger for the psychic health of the woman. Such danger results verifiable, to the light of the picked data, really whereas a voluntary interruption of the pregnancy is effected.

This consideration conducts to express the belief that the interests of the conceived and the mother one, in comparison to the pregnancy, are not in opposition, but in close, mutual correlation.
